About Manik's "Passions"

Having worked at various levels in leading Automation & Lighting organizations for a decade, Manik Kshetrapal started our Parent Company – Aquarius Lighting Control (ALC) in 2000. Manik is an astute learner of present & future trends in Lighting and Energy Conservation subjects.

Manik’s introduction to Lighting was way back in year 1993, when he started his career with one of today’s most respected organizations – Wipro Lighting. Wipro’s stringent technical, Sales & Personality-building trainings helped him to build his strong foundation in Lighting.

Lighting and Energy Conservation are not Manik's professions. They are his PASSIONS. These passions have resulted in UNIQUE solutions thereby ensuring very long-lasting relations with all our clients.

He is a consistent performer in setting up start-up businesses & is one of the “first-few” in implementing changing trends in ENERGY CONSERVATION associated in lighting like –

Metal Halide fixtures to Industrial shop floors in 1993 (Wipro): which replaced inefficient Mercury Vapour lamps.
Mood (Scene) Lighting in 2001 (ALC): when the concept was very new.
Florescent Highbay fixtures: in 2003 (ALC) – ALC is instrumental in installing over 8000 Fluorescent Highbays in various industrial applications. These High bays alone are saving @ 37,32,800 KwHrs (Units) per year!
LED Street Lighting: in 2011 – Right from complex Product design to implementation of one of the largest LED street light installations in India.
